Cameron County Drainage District No 1 and The Ernesto Gamez Jr Cascade Park is excited to announce “Light Up The Night 2025”, a magical evening of lights, laughter, and fitness at Cascade Park. Enjoy festive family fun, live activities, and the park’s first-ever outdoor movie night under the festive lights.

FAMILY FUN SCHEDULE

saturday, december 6th | doors open at 5:00pm
  • 5:30 PM – FREE Santa Run (1 Mile) – Lace up, wear your favorite holiday outfit and run to Santa’s Wish Station! Participants will meet Santa at the finish line and share their holiday wishes.
  • Pictures with Santa – Capture a merry memory to take home.
  • Festive Costume Contest – Prizes for the most creative holiday looks!
  • 7:00 PM – Movie Showing: Elf – Bring your blankets and chairs for a cozy outdoor screening of this Christmas classic
  • Christmas Cutouts & Photo Ops – Snap fun photos with holiday-themed displays.
  • Vendors and More! – Enjoy food, treats, and local favorites while celebrating the season.
